I am a digital marketer, specializing in content creation and social media marketing for professionals.
I didn’t always do this, though.
Before this, I was in the US Army and The Boeing Company, doing intelligence and private security work. While in the military, I served in the Intelligence and National Security Command (INSCOM) and the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). In 2010, I received the Bronze Star while on mission in Iraq. I am a disabled veteran, and received an Honorable Discharge from the US Army in 2013.
I loved doing my job in the military and as a private security personnel, but I had always wanted to be a writer. Growing up, the stories of John Steinbeck and Edward Abbey were close companions. Finally, in 2017, with the support of my wife and our team of dogs, I began Todd’s Written Word, LLC.
Because of my love for the outdoors and my time in the military, I have a strong background and interest in writing about the outdoors and tactical industries. While conducting investigations, I spent a lot of time using social media for forensics work. This led to an interest in social media marketing, something I offer to clients in the Puget Sound and beyond. In particular, I enjoy working on marketing via Instagram (and influencer marketing work, generally).
My clients have included professional sports teams, outdoor manufacturers, publications, retail businesses, and financial service providers.
